Damp conditions were forecast to persist along much of Queensland's east this week as a atmospheric system continued to pull in damp air against the coastal areas.
Tomorrow was forecast to be the heaviest precipitation period, with continued thunderstorm potential predicted across different parts of both regions.

Public health experts alerted that there was an greater possibility of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the countryside regions, specifically given the current weather patterns.
